  • NEW STUDIO OPEN DAY! 02 October 2018 | View comments

  • Hello

It's been such a long time since my last post.  Life has been madly busy!

The big news is that I have moved into a new studio!  A sweet cottage studio became available within a community of Oxfordshire artists, designers and crafts people..... so I snapped it up.... so lucky and so exciting!  I rented two studios in London (during my younger designer days!) in similar creative environments and loved it, so I knew this new studio would be perfect!

As I wanted this new adventure to be fun and very sociable, I asked Anna Robbins of Homebird if she would like to share the studio with me.  She said yes!... and we have spent the last few weeks turning our little studio into a cosy retreat where we can both unwind whilst we knit and crochet.

We've called our studio Blackberry Cottage Studio, as there were heaps of blackberrys at the back of the cottage when we moved in.

The studio is a working studio for us both, but we will be opening the doors for workshops a few times a month... as we love to teach!

So....if you can get to Oxfordshire this coming Sunday (7th October), we are having an OPEN STUDIO DAY with some of the other Cuckoo Lane Artisans 11am-4pm

Blackberry Cottage Studio, 25 Cuckoo Lane, North Leigh, Witney, Oxfordshire, OX29 6PW

We will be chatting about our upcoming knit and crochet workshops and I will have finished knits showing the projects that you will make at my cosy hand knit workshops .

I will be selling a selection of knitting kits, printed knitting patterns, wool and needles on Sunday and you will also be able to see a selection of finished handknit samples of my knitting pattern designs whilst you are here.

    It should be fun!

PS... We have a large private carpark here too!

    Hope to see you Sunday
