  • Hi there

As mentioned in my previous blog, I went into my little boy's school to help the children have some 'Easter Art' Fun!  As promised here are some images of their fab creations!

The kids Easter card was a spring flower picture. They printed a textured grass background with stamps that I made by wrapping wool around strips of cardboard. The children then cut out various flower shapes and used these with scrunched up cake cases to create their own spring flowers,

The children were also given an Easter basket to decorate. There were some adorable pictures of the cutest bunnies and chicks!

The class also made wool and glue Easter Eggs.
Here are the before photographs of the wool Easter Eggs wrapped around the balloons. It's a very slippery and messy activity......but lots of fun.... and the end results are fab!
(More details of how we did this are in my previous blog)

...... Take a look at the photographs below of the children's finished Easter Eggs.....WOW!!!

....Have you spotted the little pompom chick I made for the children as a little surprise Easter treat hidden inside each balloon?

I'm so tempted to make some of these string eggs for friends and family for Easter ..... if I have time!
Mmmmm....I wonder if there is a way of making an edible version?!!!
