  • Afternoon Tea in Hampshire 16 June 2014 | View comments

  • Saturday was my god-daughters 18th Birthday.  We were invited for afternoon tea in the garden. Tea and scones, and wonderful company....just perfect!

I went to Art School with the *Birthday Girl's* mother, Penny..... and **!!! years later my god-daughter is now just about to start at art school herself, this September. Exciting times ahead!

Penny has three daughters 18, 16 and 12..... All three girls are now beautiful young ladies.... where did those years go!

Here they are modeling my Rocket Clothing London knits when they were little tots. Adorable!

psssst.....Mini Cable Sweater (PDF's for these larger sizes are almost ready for realease!)
and Diamond Cable Cardigan (PDF pattern coming this autumn!)

Penny studied textiles at Brighton art school with me and specialised in weave. She also went onto the Royal College of Art to study for her Masters. Penny is now painting wonderful expressive and textured paintings from her studio in Hampshire, and exhibiting in shows and galleries. Do take a look at Penny's work
    I love it!

It was also great to catch up with Penny's sister Liz again. Liz runs a very successful design company with her husband David.  This very talented team work on identity branding,  both print and digital.  Do take a look at their work www.parkcorner.com

Such an artistic family. A chef, a freelance writer, and a photographer are also in the mix! A lovely afternoon.
