  • Beautiful knits by one of my customers 14 September 2014 | View comments

  • Hello again

I always love to see my customers finished knitting projects, and was so pleased that Anne Shanks from Australia sent me these lovely photos of the beautiful handknits she made for her grandson recently. These handknits are made using my Classic Stripe Cardigan and Classic Pixie Beanie knitting patterns. Don't they look stunning in these neutral colours! Beautiful knitting and finishing!

Anne has used Katia Merino 100% Beige and cream. Anne says that Katia Merino is beautiful to knit, it is very soft, with good stitch definition and washes well.

Anne has now bought quite a few knitting patterns from me and leaves wonderful messages about my work on her own ravelry project page and to use here on my website. Here are a couple of Annes's comments written in Ravelry!!

    Classic Stripe Cardigan

Linda Whaley (Rocket Knits and Lindawhaley.co.uk), has wonderful designs and such fool-proof written patterns. They have a modern twist to the look of them. I really like the top of sleeve finishing; semi ‘set-in-sleeve’. Linda has great design skills for sure

    Mini Stripe Cardigan

This striped jumper by Linda Whaley www.lindawhaley.co.uk (Rocket Knits) is one of the best written patterns I have knitted. She gives amazing detail for a very professional finish...... ....I would most definitely knit this again and will be a favourite for me. ............The neck finish is great and the moss stitch collar sits perfectly as it is an extension of the 2x2 rib band. Linda even gives details for the casting off of the collar for a neat finish.

I would highly recommend this. Linda has other delightful patterns in her range which I will be knitting in the future.

If anybody else has any photos of their lovely creations made using my knitting patterns do send in some snaps as i always love to see them!
