Knitting pattern instructions to knit this cabled baby blanket in any DK yarn on a pair of long 3.75mm and 4mm single pointed needles.
The largest blanket will have to be knitted back and forth on circular needles due to its width.
Knit this blanket in either wool, cotton or mixed fibre yarns that recommends 4mm needles. The blanket shown here has been handknitted in Rowan Super Fine Merino DK.
This blanket comes in 3 sizes:
Baby blanket - 62cms (24 1/2 inches) X 85cms (33 1/2 inches)
Medium blanket/throw - 92cms (36 inches) X 133cms (52 1/2 inches)
Large blanket /throw - 126cms (491/2 inches) X 181cms (72 inches)
This cabled baby blanket looks very special in any colour.... cream and neutral colours, fun brights, softer prettier colours, and boyish blues.
