This Aran knitting pattern has a simple cable repeat pattern and is the perfect project for a new knitter who is ready to explore cable knits!
This knitting pattern has instructions for the following sizes:
Newborn, 0-2 months, 2-8 months, 8-24 months, 2-5 years, 6-11 years, Teen/Adult
The hats shown here have been knitted with Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran and Milla Mia Merino Aran on 4mm (US6) and 5mm (US8) needles.
Other any aran yarns that knit on 5mm (US8) needles to the tension below.

Measurements
This cabled hat has a lot of stretch due to the ribbed knit throughout the hat.

You will need:
1 pair of 4mm (US6) single pointed needles / or DPNs
1 pair of 5mm (US8) single pointed needles / or DPNs
Cable needle 5mm (US8)
Yarns used were merino aran
30 (55, 70, 85, 100, 120) gm
Separate detailed instructions are included to knit this hat either:
FLAT on a pair of SINGLE POINTED needles / or IN THE ROUND on DPNs
