LITTLE DUCKLING SOCKS

Little socks for tiny feet! Knit these cute little duckling baby socks to keep little toes warm.

Easy to read instructions for the following sizes:
0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months

The socks have a super simple heel turn with no wrapped stitches making them a great project for new knitters!  

Separate detailed instructions are included to knit this hat either:
FLAT on a pair of SINGLE POINTED needles / or IN THE ROUND on DPNs 

These picture knits are worked flat and seamed for easy intarsia knitting.  If you are a new knitter and not quite ready to work in intarsia this time / or if you are knitting these socks in the round , simply Swiss darn (duplicate stitch) the little ducks onto your socks after knitting.

Choose any 4 Ply yarn (or sport yarn) that knits on 3.25mm (US3) needles to the tension listed below. The little socks shown here were knitted in Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino. 

Tension 
Stocking stitch
10cms/4 inches  =   25-26sts                                    
10cms/4 inches  =   34-35 rows 

Measurements                                                                              

You will need:
A pair of 2.25mm (US1) single pointed needles / Or DPN's 
A pair of 3.25mm (US3) single pointed needles / OR DPNs
Yarn used - Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino
30 (40, 50) gm  = Denim/027  (Main colour)
8 (10, 12) gm    = Sienna/067 (orange)      
10 (12, 14) gm  = Butter/083 Yellow)  
Darning/tapestry needle
