A beautifully simple textured star sits at the front of this precious little preemie and baby hat.
This popular 4 Ply knitting pattern is easy to knit and a great project for a new knitter.
Four preemie sizes are also included in this knitting pattern to ensure the tiniest premature baby has a hat that fits perfectly.
The little newborn hats shown here have been knitted in Rowan's beautifully soft Super Fine Merino 4 Ply on 2.75mm (US2) and 3.25mm (US3) needles. Use this yarn or another 4 Ply yarn of your choice that knits up to the tension listed below

You will need:
10 (15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40) gm Rowan Super Fine Merino 4 Ply
1 pair of 2.75mm (US2) single pointed needles / or DPNs
1 pair of 3.25mm (US3) single pointed needles / or DPNs
Darning/tapestry needle
FLAT on a pair of SINGLE POINTED needles / or IN THE ROUND on DPNs
