This fun little boys aviator hat has cute little badgers and cosy earflaps too!
These picture knits are worked flat and seamed for easy intarsia knitting.
If you are a new knitter and not quite ready to work in intarsia this time, simply Swiss darn (duplicate stitch) the little badgers onto your hat after knitting.
This knitting pattern has instructions for the following sizes:
6-8lbs (0-3m, 3-6m, 6-12m, 1-2 yrs, 3-5yrs, 6-9yrs)
Choose any 4 Ply yarn (or sport yarn) that knits on 3.25mm (US3) needles to the tension listed below. The little beanie shown here was knitted in Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino

10cms/4 inches = 25-26sts
10cms/4 inches = 34-35 rows

You will need:
A pair of 3.25mm (US3) single pointed needles
Yarn used - Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino
Sienna/067 (Orange) = 25 (30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 60) gm
White/100 = 10 (10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10) gm
Black/(300 = 5 (5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5) gm
Darning/tapestry needle
