A beautifully simple textured baby hat that is perfect for new knitters who can knit a simple knit stitch and a simple purl stitch.
This precious little hat comes in 6 sizes from tiniest sizes for premature babies through to 2 years
The preemie and baby hats shown here have been knitted in Rowan's beautifully soft Baby Cashsoft Merino on 2.75mm (US2) and 3.25mm (US3) needles.
Use this yarn or choose Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino.
Tension
24 sts = 10cms/4 inches
34 rows = 10cms/4 inches

You will need:
20 (25, 30, 35, 50, 75) gm Rowan Baby Cashsoft Merino
1 pair of 2.75mm (US2) single pointed needles / or DPNs
1 pair of 3.25mm (US3) single pointed needles / or DPNs
Darning/tapestry needle
FLAT on a pair of SINGLE POINTED needles / or IN THE ROUND on DPNs
